*Please do not attempt to perform repairs yourself as it could damage the lighter beyond repair.

We know that behind every Zippo product sent for repair is an owner depending on our promise to get it back in working order. Whether a windproof lighter is five years, 25 years, or 50 years old, it will serve as a dependable source of flame for years to come. We guarantee it.

Step 1: Some products require preparation before you ship them.


WINDPROOF LIGHTERS

• Remove the inside unit from the lighter.
• Allow all fuel to evaporate for two days.
• Replace inside unit in lighter case.

BUTANE LIGHTERS (Butane, Candle, Utility, OUL®)

• Take lighter outside and discharge gas following the instructions that came with your lighter.

HAND WARMERS

• Allow fuel to evaporate for two days.

Step 2: Package your item securely along with the necessary forms


• Package securely in an oversized box or padded shipping bag.
• Include with your package or enclose a note with your name, address, telephone number, and email address to receive a
  confirmation of receipt and reshipment of your repaired item.
• For ONLY the following products, please enclose US$5 for repair:
      • Utility Lighters
      • Candle Lighters
  (NOTE: You do NOT need to enclose money for any pocket lighters with flip tops)
• Include a copy of your sales receipt as proof of purchase with your package for the following products:
      • Utility Lighters
      • Candle Lighters
      • Hand Warmers
      • Fire Starters
      • Watches
      • Writing Instruments
      • All Outdoor Products

Step 3: Send it!


• Send your package to the exclusive Zippo Distributor in your country for repair, insured and via a trackable method to:
